Prism cut decanters are desirable as they are difficult to make – they require master craftsmanship. The process involves several intense steps which include specialized hand blowing, grinding and cutting, and polishing to achieve the effect. Additionally, there is a star cut design on the base of the decanter as well as on the stopper. The stopper fits perfectly into the decanter, ensuring that this is the original one.
