Quite the rage, hyacinth vases were always featured in Victorian homes. Many of them were displayed on windowsills at this time as well as on mantle pieces. Victorian women loved hyacinth vases to force flowering bulbs for wintertime blooms indoors. This Victorian passion continued well into the 20th century.

Our 2 Antique English Teal Hyacinth Vases are especially attractive because of their rich color. Each vase is designed in a classic shape and is slightly conical with a flared rim. The base is concave and has a rough pontil.
