Pair of Antique Cut Glass Salts with Sterling Silver Rims

$750.00 for pair
  • Birmingham, 1904 by Henry Williamson Ltd.
  • Dimensions: 1 1/8 inches high, 1 7/8 inches diameter

Glass salt cellars with silver rims have been popular for a long time. This type of salt cellar was predominately made during the Victorian and Edwardian eras through the 1920’s. The combination of cut crystal glass with a hallmarked sterling silver rim offers an elegant look that is quite attractive in design. Glass bodies allow the individuals to see the salt, while the fitted silver rim provides a clean, finished edge.

A very attractive pair of Antique early 20th century Glass Salts with English Sterling Silver Rims. The glass bodies have exquisite workmanship with diamond cutting which is interspersed with star cut panels. There is a lovely color blue enamel design which is very appealing. This enamel design is set on the sterling silver rims.

The salts also have a pair of spoons and they all reside within this lovely fitted case. This attractive set makes a lovely gift or can be a wonderful set to acquire for one’s personal indulgence.
