American Steuben Glass Bowl/Dish

$675.00
  • New York, circa 1950 by Steuben
  • Dimensions: 3 1/2 inches tall, 9 1/2 inches wide

Steuben Glass is the most illustrious name in American art glass. It was cofounded in 1903 in the town of Corning, New York by Frederick Carder who was involved in the British glassmaker company Stevens and Williams. He was a self-taught English chemist and glassmaker and enjoyed experiments. He constantly created new color formulas that resulted in a wide array of hues, from milky jades to his famous iridescent Aurene shades.

Our vintage American Steuben Glass Bowl/Dish is the epitome of “crystal clear”. Luxury is in the details as this bowl/dish is delicately balanced and makes for a wonderful piece. One of the attributes that makes this piece quite appealing to us is the shape. Therefore, it can be used as a serving bowl/dish, an exquisite centerpiece, or just a stunning decorative piece. Our glass bowl/dish is marked Steuben in script on the bottom.

Steuben glass, with its impeccable artistry and timeless grace, deserves a place in any collection.
