Antique English Mahogany Armchair

$2,500.00
  • England, early 19th century
  • Dimensions: 34 inches tall, 18 inches deep, 22 inches seat at widest, 23 1/2 inches arm at widest point

An early 19th century English Mahogany Armchair which is an exceptional example of workmanship of this period. Nail heads and lovely detail work add to this wonderful look for an open armchair. The seat fabric made by a well known designer firm, gives this chair a sophisticated look. The color also complements the wonderful shade of the mahogany wood. The legs are ring turned and this leg design is used in the supports of the curved arms. A wide slat as well as the other two narrow ones are in extremely good condition as is the whole chair. I am sure that you could see this Regency period English Mahogany Armchair looking lovely in your  home.
