American Sterling Silver Bowl

$550.00
  • Massachusetts, circa 1960 by Lunt Silversmiths
  • Dimensions: 3 inches high, 5 3/4 inches diameter

Silver bowls have been enduring pieces in dining collections throughout history. The design of a bowl reflects the era in which it was produced, as silversmiths techniques varied depending upon the era. Today, silver bowls of all styles are admired, from the simple and elegant to ones that have chasing, engraving and elaborate repousse work.

A lovely and very stylish American sterling silver vintage Bowl. Featuring elegantly defined vertical flutes, a scalloped border and a circular base provides a stable and stylish foundation.

Marked on the underside “From Early Dublin Design, circa 1720 Lunt Sterling, 425D” this bowl is quite attractive and can be used in a variety of ways.
