French Tole Water Pump

$350.00
  • France, early 20th century
  • Dimensions: 10 inches tall, 6 inches wide at base

A 20th century French Tole Water Pump that is a lovely replica of an early one. The intricacy of the workmanship is quite accurate and very good. There is a hook to hang the bucket when it is not being used to collect water and it is located below the spigot. The shelf is also located below the spigot as it would be used to rest the bucket on while water was coming out of the spigot. Another feature of this piece is that it has a movable handle that is located in the back just like the original would have. This French Tole Water Pump is painted in a soft cream color with touches of red. Also, there is a floral decoration including pansies, on the front of this article which enhances the piece.
