Set of 4 George III Antique English Silver Entree Dishes

$25,000.00 set of 4 or $12,500.00 for pair
  • London, 1791 by Robert Sharp
  • Dimensions: 6 inches tall by 11 inches wide

A magnificent set of four George III, Antique English Silver Entree Dishes. In general, entree dishes tend to be either oval or rectangular in shape. Thus, these being octagonal, tend to make them more unique and very special. Each one features shaped gadroon borders and a wonderful engraved coat of arms. Probably this set was originally part of a larger one containing 6 or 8 or even more dishes. Each entree dish and cover is marked numbers 1 through 4 (with dots) so that we know the correct entree dish top corresponds with the proper entree dish bottom. Please note that these handles are not removable. These George III Antique English Silver Entree Dishes are in exquisite condition and are of wonderful color and patina. They would look exquisite in  any home and would complement any setting.
