Antique English Glass Decanter

Sold
  • England, circa 1820
  • Dimensions: 9 1/2 inches tall

There’s nothing quite like antique glass. It combines craftsmanship, elegance and warmth. Not only do decanters have sculptural appeal, they are also useful. Also, there is pleasure in decanting a bottle of wine into a decanter, which could be over two hundred years old. All of these qualities add to their sustainability and it’s easy to see why antique decanters have always been quite popular.

An exquisite Antique English 19th century Glass Decanter that was made during the late Georgian/Regency period. Having three neck rings, vertical slotted grooves and a star shaped base makes this piece quite special. The stopper has the same design that is prevalent on the body and fits perfectly into the decanter, thus ensuring this is the original stopper.

Our Antique English 19th century Glass Decanter is the perfect balance of function and look.
