Antique English Spode Waste Bowl

  • Dimensions: 3 1/4 inches height, 6 1/8 inch diameter

A waste or slop bowl (as it would have been called at that time) is part of a traditional tea set as it held the used tea leaves. A Lovely Antique English Porcelain Spode hand painted Waste Bowl that has a gilt design interspersed with an orange band which has gilt on both sides of it. There is a gilt border at the top and at the bottom of the piece. Please note that there is slight wear to the gilding at the top and at the bottom of the piece. This lovely Antique English Spode Waste Bowl is marked on the bottom of the piece.
