Tray Tables and Stands are a wonderful way of integrating the antique (the tray) with the contemporary (the stand). The trays for these stands are predominately made of either sterling silver, silver plate, papier mache or tole. The stands are always custom made and are either painted black or have a wood finish. Tray tables and stands are a wonderful idea and will enhance any setting in a home.
A wonderful Antique 19th century English Tole Tray that is decorated with gilt flowers on a black background. This flower design resonates throughout the piece. Gilt workmanship is also prevalent on its’ custom made stand which makes this piece quite special.
