English Silver Plate Salver

Sold
  • Sheffield, circa 1960 by Roberts and Belk
  • Dimensions: 12 inches diameter

A handsome English Silver Plate Videau Salver. We are thrilled to have re-acquired this piece as we sold these salvers quite well in our New York City store approximately 50 years ago.

This English Silver Plate Square Salver is quite elegant in design. With a plain and unembellished center, this is an ideal salver to have a monogram engraved in the center. By doing so, it makes the piece more personal and special. It has a reeded border as well as shaped and cut corners which are applied to the rim. Supported by four incurved bracket style feet, this salver is in excellent condition and would look quite attractive in any setting.
