This Antique George III English Silver Strainer Spoon is a must for any collector. Basting Spoons are identical in form without the strainer, and are relatively common. Strainer Spoons like this are quite rare.
An elegant Antique George III English Silver Strainer Spoon in the ‘Old English’ pattern. The Spoon has an original crest on the handle which enhances the piece and makes it look quite handsome. It has its original strainer which is inside the bowl. This makes serving gravy a special event and whenever you use this piece with your friends, the strainer spoon will be the talk of the table. At almost 12 inches in length, this is a very good-sized serving piece.
