Antique English Georgian Wine Jug

Sold
  • England, circa 1820
  • Dimensions: 9 1/2 inches in height to top of spout

This Antique English Georgian Wine Jug shows exceptional design and workmanship. Diamond cutting and basal fine vertical hollow flutes – which is defined as a fluted design – illustrates the work that went into this piece. As one can see above these designs, is a step cut neck and spout which helps show off its’ true beauty. Today one could also use this piece as a water pitcher as it does have a handle that is quite sturdy. A glass collector would surely want to add this to their collection as this Antique English Georgian Wine Jug is quite special.
