  • Dimensions: Fork - 6 1/2 inches length, Knife - 7 7/8 inches length

Fish Sets started being produced during the 19th century, and rose to prominence during the Victorian era. This resulted in the demand for extravagant silverware. In the late 19th century, sets of cutlery and serving pieces with mother of pearl handles became quite popular. Cutlery handles made from real mother of pearl occasionally have a slight variation in color, grain, and size.

A very stylish and classic Antique Victorian Plate 12 Piece Fish Set in a case having mother of pearl handles. All 12 pieces are in very good condition. The set is adorned with sterling collars and the knife blades are engraved with a floral design.

This Antique Victorian Plate 12 Piece Fish Set beautifully exemplifies the fine dining traditions of the 19th century.
