Syphon Stands were used in the late Victorian era as decorative holders for either soda or water. Today, they are used predominately as wine and champagne bottle holders. Syphon Stands look so elegant when displayed on a beautiful dinner table. Many people today have been using syphon stands instead of wine coasters as they think it enhances the table setting and makes it more interesting.
